Millions of Americans are seeking knowledge, skills and credentials to navigate a rapidly changing world. These students have diverse needs and deserve a more flexible, affordable and higher- quality system of higher education. Achieving this goal is also critical for securing the uncertain future of the American middle class, and for fulfilling America’s promise as a land of opportunity.
For both community prosperity and the health of our democracy, we need all voices at the table as we make this promise a reality. We work with students, faculty, administrators, college presidents, trustees, employers and state and federal policymakers on the most critical issues facing higher education today. These include community college student success, two-to-four year transfer policy, remedial education reform, reduction of achievement gaps, college affordability, new academic models and, innovation in teaching and learning.
