Community Voices for Health Digital Collaboration Workshop

February 18, 2021

On January 13, 2021, Public Agenda hosted a workshop as part of the Community Voices for Health initiative, sharing strategies on how to create more collaborative, engaging, and effective digital workshops and meetings. Evan Summers, Public Engagement Technology Strategist, walked participants through setting goals for virtual meetings, creating breakout rooms, and using collaborative documents, as well as a variety of digital tools such as online polls and whiteboards, that groups can use to brainstorm and capture information during meetings.

You can access a recording of the workshop here and the presentation slides here.

Community Voices for Health is a new initiative supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, with technical assistance from Public Agenda and Altarum, to strengthen the infrastructure for engagement in health. Public Agenda and Altarum are working with grantees, policymakers, and researchers in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Indiana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada to identify and leverage existing engagement assets, add new activities, support community-engaged research efforts, and connect with state and local decision-makers.
