Public Agenda’s Associate Director for National Engagement Programs, Quixada Moore-Vissing, describes the importance of civic health in assessing and promoting a healthy democracy in her new op-ed in The Fulcrum published April 27, 2021. In the piece, Moore-Vissing outlines her research on how to better the civic health assessment process when people need these check-ups the most, especially given the past year’s events—including the pandemic, Black Lives Matter protests and the insurrection at the Capitol.
Moore-Vissing’s piece is the third in a series of articles published in The Fulcrum through a new relationship with the media platform that covers ways to improve American democracy.
