Rebecca Silliman

Rebecca works on all phases of Public Agenda’s research and evaluation projects including: project design, data collection, analysis, and reporting. She is experienced in a broad set of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as participatory design, surveys, individual interviews and focus groups.

Prior to joining Public Agenda, Rebecca worked at an applied research firm where she was involved with multiple evaluative projects for the Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Navy. She assisted with both formative and summative evaluations for a U.S. Department of Education Ready to Learn grant. In addition to program evaluation, she provided math, science, literacy and civics curriculum consultation for a variety of kindergarten-8th grade television shows, apps and enrichment classes.

Rebecca received her master’s degree in developmental psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sacred Heart University. Her research interests include motivation in school settings and civic development.
