Cruz Vargas-Sullivan

Cruz Vargas-Sullivan is a Senior Research Associate at Public Agenda. She has years of experience as a researcher in academic, non-profit and city-agency settings. Cruz is trained in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. She is interested in research on improving the educational experiences of historically disadvantaged young people and their families.

Cruz attended Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She attended New York University, obtaining her master’s in Human Development and Social Intervention from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at NYU.
