Chris Haller

Chris Haller, an eParticipation Strategist who joined Public Agenda in 2008, works on the management and implementation of online components for our public engagement projects.

As an information and interaction architect for public involvement processes with a background in community planning and web development, his main interest lies in improving decision-making processes by exploring new ways to combine traditional and electronic ways of communication. He is the co-author, with Scott Bittle and Alison Kadlec, of Promising Practices in Online Engagement, published by our Center for Advances in Public Engagement (CAPE).

Chris' background includes work developing interactive web and mobile applications for xMedia Participation, of which he was a founder. Previously, he worked as Director of eParticipation at PlaceMatters, where he organized a variety of visioning and public participation projects, which often included eMeetings and online engagement platforms.

Prior to that, as communications manager at Zebralog in Berlin, Germany, Chris organized, facilitated and evaluated multiple online dialogues.

Chris was awarded the degree of Bachelor and Master in Urban and Regional Planning from Technical University Berlin.
