Access to Hospice Care: Expanding Boundaries, Overcoming Barriers

"Hospice Access & Values" has been examining how public policy and financing systems impede delivery of services that reflect the values of hospice and the preferences of the American public. The project team has identified the implications for improving access to quality end of life care in a rapidly changing health care system, and has completed an analysis of policy issues concerning access to humane and compassionate care at the end of life.
