Chloe Rinehart works on and assists with Public Agenda’s research projects throughout all stages of project development, including project design, administration, data collection, and analysis. She is experienced in conducting interviews and focus groups, is versed in both qualitative and quantitative techniques, and is fluent in Spanish.
Chloe earned her B.A. in Government and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University. In the 2013-14 academic year, she conducted primary research in Ecuador for her senior thesis “Obstacles to Uptake: The Case of Ecuador’s Conditional Cash Transfer Program, the Bono de Desarrollo Humano.” Her thesis, which focused on the challenges facing state-led social assistance programs and educational and health services in Ecuador and across Latin America, was awarded University Honors, the highest academic honor for an undergraduate.
For the majority of her time at Wesleyan, Chloe worked with Let’s Get Ready, a nonprofit organization that works to close the higher education achievement gap by providing free SAT tutoring and college admissions counseling to under-served high school students. She is interested in issues relating to higher education, education access, and poverty and human development.
