Gay Civil Rights: Should Homosexual Individuals have the same Constitutional Rights as Heterosexual Individuals?
9/28/2010
To answer this question, I'd like to ask another; why are we even asking about civil rights for gays anyways? My reasoning is that under the constitution of the United States of America; all people should be endowed with the same civil rights, no matter what the discrepancy or opipnions of the public.
We are a free nation under the banner of liberty and justice for all; it is a slap in the face when politicians are more concerned about men loving men, than real issues, like solving the unemployment problem, or budget crisis.
I think all states need to recognize that same sex unions don't pose a threat to the family or to any certain individuals. Hey, if you don't like to see two guys kissing in public, than stop watching it them your proverbial closet on youtube. It discusts me to hear people groan about the sin of Homosexuality without any viable evidence, (scietifically), to back their claim.
I have a challenge for the general public; prove to me that "ALL," gay men and women are truly evil and have an agenda to rid the world of all that is decent and "THE NORMAL", then prove with scientific evidence that GOD exists as a judgmental asswhole who sits on a thrown in the celestial world. Now, the final challenge is look with in one's self and decide if you're really the one who is being unfair and unjust in your irrational point of view.
Remember; faith is work, and love is an action!

I was under the assumption that we ALL have the same rights, regardless of our sexual orientation. This should not even be an issue. A person's sexual preference should not have anything to do with their Constitutional rights. Who am I as an imperfect person, living in an imperfect world to tell someone else that they cannot marry the one they love because they are gay, when I can. I think it is unfair and extremely selfish. These are just my thoughts...
