you should stop blaming companies and take the blame to yourself my fellow americans, you should have known that your own greed caused this problem for yourselves. if you wouldnt have meaninglessly and selfishly raised pay for yoursellves instead of coraporating and working for a same rate of pay and not complained for more pay when you couldve gotten the same pay and still had a good quality of life, but no you wanted more and you ruined yourselves in the procces because of it, for the companies went to more un selfish workers that only demanded what they needed. you dont need everythin out of life only what you need and only what matters.
This unknowing person talks about "greed by fellow Americans for raising their pay." Is this guy in the closet or just plain asleep? First off, our negotiated wage and benefits were scaled at a profit index by what corporations make. It's this scaling of wages that has brought on the highest standard of living in the world, but we are losing that status due to the type of thinking you imply. Remember, not only wages but the conditions in which workers have created for their own safety. Go back in history and study the working conditions prior to the Industrial Revolution. It will make you vomit. Now, let's get real, when CEO's can stuff their pockets with millions in one haul, then cry "no profits," while "downsizing" or "restructuring," it becomes criminal because it isn't so. We know corporations need to profit but not off the backs of the workers that made them who they are. Read some real labor history.
outsourcing can be a valuable lesson for the american people. when buisness outsource to other countries for cheaper labor, yes it does cost jobs, but it can teach the american people to work for cheaper too, that would result in the prices of products and goods to drop and then american workers dispite working for less still will live a good quality of life for cheaper prices making them afordable to the americans.
Giving our jobs away is wrong, no matter what the reason! China makes JUNK! I dont want it!!!!!!!!
It's about COST OF LIVING. It isn't the rich, or even the upper middle class that is hurting the most from outsourcing. It is the little people -- those who could barely make it on minimum wage and have had to seek help from the state just to feed their families -- even though they were working -- THOSE people have lost those jobs.
I'm tired of hearing that Americans won't do the work. WE WILL TOO, and contrary to what many people overseas and over the border seem to think, we aren't all SUV driving, vacationing, "must have the latest flat screen" type of people. In fact, hundreds of thousands of us scrape by while working... and then we lose those jobs to people whose cost of living is lower than our own.
Think you know the U.S.? Come live with the little people.
I for one am sick of trying to communicate with customer service representatives who can't speak my language well enough to understand me or be understood.
It is an insult that they are making $10/hour because our own companies want the kickbacks. The rich get richer. The poor get poorer -- and there are people in my family/neighborhood/town/state/country who would be grateful for a minimum wage job right now! .

I am no longer a believer in the idea that outsourcing gives 'America' a greater labor base. Certainly many in America that have lost their jobs while the 'decision makers and compensation reapers' at the top shift these very same mid and lower level jobs to Asia and call it in an ever so bland and broad way "more efficient". Do not knock the common American and trounce him for speaking up and against outsourcing. The normal American is against no one of another country in general - they simply see the greed at the top as their jobs are yanked away and sent overseas. This illustrates exactly how unpatriotic, how heartless and how flawed our top executives are when the few give away their own staff and manning base positions so that the people at the top can cash out and retire just an Nth much better - as if they needed another $50K year end bonus on top of the millions they have tucked away. And to what cause - to let slip the prosperity of those around them. To cut the throats and asperations of the staff, lower manager or IT support down the hall. Is retiring to Coral Gables with another $50K in the bank on top of millions that the top 3% already have worth boring out the guts of the company and sending masses of poeple out the door only to hire overseas help a positive business effort? I guess only if you are the one making that call without any regard for your fellow countryment or the local economic fabric around you. You sit on an island while everyone else sinks. I hate the thought of government owning the means of production - but in this case until something better can be done - outsourcing overseas should be made illegal.

Sending American Jobs to Foriegn Lands
is killing the American Economy, destroying the Middle Class, and
significantly reducing Federal and State Tax Revenue.
Anyone who does not see this is either an Ostrich with their head in the Sand,
employed by Federal Gov't. employed by a State Gov't,, or works for a
poweful union as a Teacher, Police, Construction, etc. ).
The Private Sector has been descimated by Outsourcing and Offshoring and
just wait till another 6 million lose their jobs simply because their job
can be done via a computer.
Politicans will not stop Corporate American from "Hollowing Out America"
because they are being "paid off" making them just as corrupt as the Executives
that are raping their own companies.
America is on track to become another "Tourist Destination" where
the only jobs available will be in Federal, State, and Local Government with
Food Stores, Retail, and Restaurants rounding out the rest of our economy.
