Despite signs of recovery from the "Great Recession," 4 in 10 Americans find themselves living lives of economic struggle, according to Public Agenda's latest survey, "Slip-Sliding Away: An Anxious Public Talks About Today's Economy and the American Dream." And despite their worries about paying the bills now, most Americans said that making higher education affordable, job training and preserving Social Security and Medicare are the best ways of helping those who are struggling economically.
